Brenton
Hey guys and girls I've got my LFS rescue CT in a hospital tank to see if I can fix his curling tips and get his colour back. Seems to be getting his colour back and is very active so all looking good there, but he is seeing his reflection in the bottom of the tank and so ends up flaring at it off and on for extended periods. He's been in the tank for four days now and has only just started this behaviour. I've put a white sheet beneath the tank as it was on a black stand, but it hasn't helped. Tried lights from different angles without success. Any ideas? TIA BT
melbournebetta
It's a tricky one, because he might just be looking at the reflection on the inside of the glass where the water meets the glass (we have fish doing that at shows that are carded in beanies) You have a few options, i would obstruct his view with a few pinches of gravel or some java moss - or an indian almond leaf would do it (soaked)
