soulessz Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 hey guys and girls another simple question i'd like to ask. i have a 3ft of about 100lt just wanted to know if im over crowding atm i have; 3 blue rams, 1 4cm pleco, 2 dora, 2 bards and 4 female bettas with alot of anubius. so am i over crowding?? fishbites Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 not overcrowding if you have decent filtration.... but...... barbs are pests to most fish unless they are in larger groups or 6 or more - then they tend to keep to themselves..... Have no idea what dora are..... pleco's that are 4cm soon get to 30 cm and become crapping machines and a 3ft tank is far too small so be prepared to move it to a larger tank later or find another home for it.... If 2 of the rams form a pair they will get agro with the others and could kill off the third ram so keep an eye on them for aggression..... The female Bettas are pretty much ok in a tank that size but can get stressed out if the barbs become nipping pests or if the rams get agro.....
