Sophie
I have a horrible feeling that when my delivery of 10 Lemon tetras arrives this week, all my Red Cherry Shrimp will be eaten! I have an 80 litre tank with 3 Bristle Nose Catfish and 10 Red Cherry Shrimp. Protection wise, I've got 3 pieces of driftwood, one of which is entirely covered in Java Moss and the other two are full of holes. Do you think this would be enough to shield my shrimp? I have heard that smaller tetras are ok with shrimp, is that true? If so, are Lemon Tetras considered 'small' tetras? Is it worth getting some java fern? Some one please help!! fishbites
your previous intro thread has some info for you to read.... click here If Razzi says the lemons would nibble here and there on adult shrimp .... I'd be setting the shrimp up in their own tank.... no amount of java fern will stop a hungry fish.... neons will probably only eat the baby shrimp....
