rabbit3333shane Posted January 24, 2013 Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) Hi I just got a second hand 50l tank and it has a small internal filter tha I want use until I can get a hang on. My question is about the material insid the filter, I have taken out the carbon an put in wool along with the bio sponge which I cut to fit it in where the carbon was. Will this b ok? I intend on putting in a sponge filter out of another tank and cycling the tank for a couple of days. I haven't had much experience cycling a tank so I'm just checking no one can c any problems I might have before I put fish into the tank.
