daniel7310
Hey guys, I was wondering if there are any Tasmanian's out there that know where to get some shrimp?? (preferably cherry shrimp). I would like to buy some off Livefish but the stupid quarantine restrictions stop me from importing any. Cheers ~Daniel
Ophelia
The only shrimp you would have any luck getting down there are Paratya. You should be able to catch some in the rivers and streams using a bait trap, or even with a net by sweeping around the banks, and in weed beds. Ophelia
They're cold water critters. Java moss seems to do okay in my cold water tanks though, it just doesn't grow as fast.
daniel7310
Would they be able to adapt to tropical temperatures? I have neon tetras in my tank at the moment.

daniel7310
Yeah I guess, I have heard of people doing it with yabbies before so I don't see why not.
