My dad have these growing at the back in some tub, just wondering what are these called.

Hi guys my name's Phil and i have been into betta's since i was in my teen years. Currently i own 3 betta's (more to come!), 2 x Giant bettas and 1 x 5 Star fighter (bought off a forum member just today). They are all housed in a 2ft x 1ft x 1ft tank in seperate lunchbox containers with holes as i have a filter and heater for them. Always had a soft spot for bettas and always come running back to them LOL! looking forward to learning some tips here. Phil
