hobbygodz
I enjoy little suprises in my tanks. Tonight I found this stuff growing in there. I suspect it is a fresh-water seaweed? - Brad.
fishbites
That's definitely what you've got Brad! Süßwassertang! love that name! Bettas love using it for a bed when it clumps up - I have some on a flat piece of slate that I covered with a net - growing out into a nice cushion at the moment. My keyboard could explode if I try to spell it as you have! - Brad.

hobbygodz
wooo Süßwassertang!! Wooo, somebody else that knows how to do funnyspell! I will be sure to let you know how it tastes Lyarlla, but it will have to grow substantially first as there's only enough to get caught between my teeth at the mo. - Brad. Lyarlla
Brad - I wont lie to you... I cheated. I simply copied and pasted what Wayne had typed PS. If you grow that stuff big enough it seems to sell for a decent price if you sell it privately :o
fishbites
They say kelp is healthy but as Lyarlla says - it sells for quite a bit at times - I paid about $20 for a golfball size piece to start but it seems to grow fairly quickly just on low light and plenty of fishy fertiliser. hmmm... now I'm not sure about trying to eat it! hobbygodz
Good on ya Lyarlla! Woulda done the same if I had thought of it. Did some searching around, it is rather pricey isn't it. Grows pretty slowly too. Mabye I'll only eat a leaf or two......Brad.
