Chuckie
I'd say metallic black lace with red wash. But I bet he is marble, and I bet the pattern changes! Love the green colour on him.

PeachSlices
glad u guys like him as much as i do. how long should i condition him til i breed him? Simon
fighter boy
i would say the usual 1 - 2 weeks though each fish is different. the female also will require the same attention.
Chuckie
As long as you would take to quarantine him. You don't want to risk him infecting a lovely female with whatever!
fighter boy
hang on. Did you ask how long it would take to quarantine or condition him? quarantine for 1 month. condition for 1 - 2 weeks. my bad..
Chuckie
Simon asked about conditioning, but since the fish is new, I would QT it and condition it (whatever people mean by that - mine get fed well all the time) at the same time. You don't need to QT bettas for a month (Thank god, or Jodi would be exhausted after caring for our imports for a month). I am sure there are threads about QT periods. I would QT for at least 7 days. Maybe 10. And of course longer if I saw anything sus. But let's not hijack this thread any more with QT talk! EDIT: Here is a useful thread
