lmac
Hi all, I am a newbie to bettas and have just started to breed - I currently have my first spawn doing well at 3 days old. I am located near Nowra on NSW south coast - anyone nearby?? I would really love to get my hands on a HM pair to breed, but I have only ever bought fish from the local pet shop and have no idea how to go about sourcing some better fish! Help! How does one start?? Leah.
Fergus
Hello again Leah LOL You might be able to source some in Sydney, not sure if anyone here has any available at the moment, check the classifieds forum You could post a WTB - wanting to buy - thread. Or you could have a look at LFS, someone specialises in Bettas and Fancy Guppies, if you do a search you should find the link pretty quickly. She's in Brisbane but posts all over Australia. hobbygodz
Hi Leah, welcome to the forum! Lots of info/interest and friendly people here. As suggested by Fergus, someone (someone) is a great source for a wide variety of quality betta. I get most of my fish from her. If you elect to buy fish from aquabid, someone is the importing/quarantine agent. Here's links to AB and JL. Seeya, Brad. http://www.someone.com/ http://www.aquabid.com/
bubbzy81
Welcome Leah. I have to agree with Fergus & Brad. Definetly speak to someone (someone), but give her some time to get back to you because she is a very busy lady. Even look her up one youtube, she has footage of her bettas for sale on there. Also check out Aquabid but be warned it's HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!!! Have a good look through this first that way you understand how it all works. http://ausaqua.net/forum/index.php?showtop...&hl=aquabid Cheers, Holly. Bettarazzi
Welcome Leah. If you're going to hop on AquaBid make sure you give your wallet to a trusted friend and tell them to hide it from you no matter how much you beg.
