After some research I agreed and bought 5 females while he was away for a weekend. Just didn't expect over 200 to survive on pur first attempt!!!! And now we have fish in just about every room in the house. Luckily our two cats have no interest in the bettas at all expect to drink from the tanks even though they have their own water.
