axoloto
After an unsuccessful spawn this female built a nest and put her own eggs in it. She even guarded them for 24hrs before gulping them down Anyone ever experience this?

Lyarlla
Awww poor little girl. Ive only ever seen my female help rebuild a nest she half destroyed and then she did most of the work putting the eggs back into the nest (he was sooo useless!). He wasnt really squeezing the eggs outta her, she was more just dropping them she was so eager. But she was in with him. And then *he* ate them. Amoi
I feel your pain... Ive had one of my girls do that too. The male just had no idea so I took her out of the tank after a week of nothing... as soon as she was in her tank she built her nest and put her eggs into it. Chuckie
Yep, I have had one do it too. It was very cute. I don't think hers were fertile though. I think she just dropped them herself.
axoloto
I didn't realize it was so common, thanks for letting me know. She is an import I got off winterwhite last year. I believe she is a Giant HM. I had her at the MBG, she was the pinapple that was packed with eggs.
