Bender Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Whoa! didn't know they existed, what a brilliant irid they have!
axoloto Posted February 28, 2009 Author Report Posted February 28, 2009 They were introduced into the Australian hobby in 2005. They also come in red and gold.
Bettarazzi Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 They have cropped up a couple of times at EDAS auctions and also at the aquarium fish fair they had last year. The iridescence on them is quite startling in real life. I like them.
Anasfire Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I have a few of their cousins, bronze cory's. common these days but I like them. i've also got a few peppered cory's and would love some panda's but can't afford them right now. Those Neon's are stunning! I should stop getting bottom dwelling fish though, when people look at my tank they think I have it understocked and that it's not interesting coz they can't see all the fish that are hiding under various ornaments. 3 bronze cory's 4 Pepper cory's 3 assorted BN 1 clown fish 3 bumble bee goby's and then I have 2 butterfly rams that basically look as though they are alone in the 3.4ft tank haha
