Mango4Jade
Recently I've seen some opanques and some yellowish reds. Small fish but looks quite good. Im so tempted to get one of those. For $5 its quite cheap for a nice fish. They are just lfs bettas, but I must say, some nice colours are coming out these days. What other colurs have others seen? Callatya
I saw a stunner at "pets on broadway" at Rhodes. It was a fake MG, very bright yellow, with an oopaque blue layer and orange highlights, it was divine! If they weren't asking so much i would have gotten it, but i couldn't justify $10 for a VT
Mango4Jade
There are some weird colours coming about these days, I should get a pic of the orange wannabe VT.
Bettabegood
I've seen some stunning butterfly VTs - red BF and blue BF - plus opaques, blue marble, yellow and a pineapple yellow type. The latter sorely tempted me, but the price was $60 - yup, you read right, $60 for a VT!!!!! He remained in the shop, needless to say. It's good to see the VTs becoming available in these fantastic colours and patterns. Sue
Phil
These are some oranges that will be in petshops, someone intersepted them at the wholesalers though. I have seen some brilliant VTs around lately, and i think, why do they have to be VTs?!
Jess
I have seen some gorgeous opaque VT's of late aswell. Some with perfect even colour and impressive form.

bakerman
At the end of the day what's sooo bad about a v.t. .Just that everyone expects them to be cheap .That's probably why no one puts so much effort into them .To me they are just as pretty as the others with a lot less hasstle :D

VickiPS
I think there's a lot of folks here who totally agree with you, Mick. There's nothing at all wrong with a beautiful healthy VT. I love 'em. :D
Mpearce
I fell in love with the fishies firstly for looking at and enjoying, a richly coloured VT can be wonderful on the eyes The piccie of the orange one is impressive!
Canfeleq
I couldn't resist this VT from my lfs Not very good photos, my camera is playing up and they were hastily snapped but I couldn't resist those spots! Em
I picked up a rather rich red and an odd looking purple/pink kind of marbled VT from a LFS yesterday, the purple/pink has a battered tail because for some odd reason they stuck him in with a bunch of females (I know, not a good thing on their behalf). There was another richer red one there but he had a humped back. Photos to come.

VickiPS
I've noticed a lot of pale creamy-yellow VTs around the shops lately. The colour is pretty, but they all tend to have rather skimpy finnage. This boy, Spook, was my favourite VT -- I called him a Halloween betta. He's the only dark-bodied orange spot VT I've seen. Sadly, I lost him last summer when the temp. got up into the mid-30s
Mango4Jade
Viki, there are lots of those colours in Sydney too. I was told by my lfs that they are all from Bayfish. Was suppose to be their show quality fish. Along with the shipment they got some nice CTs and some Platnium with blue/purple wash, but they are quite small in size, if only they are HMs.
