Mpearce
;) Hi there, I was recommended to this wonderful site by my aunt VickiPS. I'm sure many of you are familiar with her. She has managed to infect me with the betta-bug. I have a few fishies under my belt so far. A beautiful Intense yellow butterfly boy, a wildly mettalic aqua neon veil, compliments of QLD ekka thru someone, I now have a gorgeous thai flag CT boy and girl from Najrick bettas. My very first fishy (now departed) was a brilliant red delta from vickips's spawn. A case of dropsy, very upseting to see, especially in your first born son. I hail from brisbane and am a professional dancer by trade. I've been abroad for many years now and hope to stay settled in oz for the future. Though, now forced to with the fish collection growing so quickly. I've been reading up madly on the wonderful little swimmers and hope to have a spawn sometime soon, though want to be fully prepared, as I've read far too many stories on the forums already from first timers who've had disasterous attempts. I think the yellow butterfly boy might be first with his sister. Wish me luck! I'll keep you posted (pun intended).

Mpearce
ooo.. could it be true? Is this THE famous nephew?? Hi, welcome to Ausaqua.. What sort of dance do you specialise in? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Mishy, Mainly you'd call it cabaret I guess. I've just returned from a few years with Royal caribbean cruise lines in broadway style shows. My last gig in Oz was pirates of penzance. Got a show coming up with Rhonda Burchmore at Jupiters casino in October, brisbanites should try to see it if they can!

VickiPS
Marcus, you need to link to an external URL. Get an account with Photobucket or similar, upload your pics there, then copy/paste the URL from there into a post here. See? Anway, here's 2 pics of Sunny, the yellow BF:
Chuckie
gorgeous iridesence. I know yellows are meant to be non-iridescent but after all, rules are made to be broken!
Mpearce
In the right light he goes irridecent pink, he's sooooooo pretty! Vickips has his 2 sisters, I want to try my first spawn soon, and I think he'll be the one. Vicki did try him a little while ago, but he gobbled all the eggs. The embraces were fairly clumsy so I hope they were just unfertilised and he isn't one of the frightening egg eaters I've heard of.
Chuckie
yeah, I had to retire a gorgeous copper OHM today (he's in my tank at work now) as he is a chronic egg eater - 4 spawns eaten at last count! Good luck
