Callatya
She's beautiful! I do love the pale ones Do be careful not to let her know she's an omnivore, I've caught mine scoffing down platies on occasion and not looking at all guilty about it. :)
Chuckie
how can you tell she is female?
Callatya
See the armadillo-like plate on her underside? In the front-on pic it looks like a triangle that reaches all the way out to her legs. In females that plate covers a much wider area than in males, who tend to have one that is more spear-shaped. Also the claw shape is a little narrower than you get on males (which is only really useful if you have something to compare it to) and both claws are the same size. Males usually have one claw larger than the other (assuming no injury that caused claws to come off etc) Here is a photo of crab undersides. It isn't the same species, but it is pretty much the same thing Female it the top row.

PeterJ
The almost vegetarian diet must be agreeing with them.
Callatya
Looks good! if you haven't tossed the exo, pop the leg bits back in. They like to eat it to get as much calcium back into their system as possible :)
