I Just Can't Part With Him!

I've gone and packed an order this morning, and I kept walking past and stopping and going to reach in for one particular container. Kept telling myself no, let him go with the rest. But I just couldn't do it. He's a combtail (dad was a VT, mum a CT), I never plan to breed from him etc, but I literally hand raised him from a week old, he was the only one to survive one particular spawn, so I kept him in a tiny container and fed him all the time till he was big enough and then put him in with my VT spawn which he grew up with. So, he's back in my four divided tank. Hopeless I know, but for some reason I really struggled, so I just decided I'd keep him.

I don't blame you, I would do the same thing. You can get very attached to the battlers.

You are so right. He has stunning finnage so maybe if I can get someone to have a look at him, he might make a good dad if I cross him with the right female?

Once he was about a month old I named him Aztec. He has his own little tank now. He's the funniest little thing, he goes all wiggly when I approach his tank, and he plays with my finger. I must try and get a recent pic of him to show everyone. He's a gorgeous colour and he has such lovely fins.
