Callatya
A "gibbyset" Silver dollars Completely stocked Complete SW setup WAY overstocked - 9 goldfish! 5 goldfish, and guess what? NO FILTER Now I thought Ebay had a "no livestock" policy? If i sell a catscratch pole with cat included, is that acceptable? When will people learn that FISH ARE ANIMALS TOO! (that being said, some great bargains on there this week )
Phil
You are not allowed to sell fish on ebay, them auctions get cancelled if ebay finds out, but if you sell them with an accessorie its fine!
Callatya
Its just stupid. If I had the time, pets and inclination, I'd sell some gear with pets included. What a daft policy. Saddle - horse included! Like that'd fly. Just another example of the world deciding that fish aren't *real* animals with *real* rights. If i had a pond i'd buy those 9 goldies. poor devils. PinkFishy
It's probably good they are being sold then. At least they have a chance of a 'better' home. Let's hope the buyer knows what how to keep fish. It's very common to sell a complete tank and setup including the fish on ebay. usually because someone is moving or getting out of the hobby due to lack of time. Those are usually good setups with well kept fish. And I guess the owners would rather include the fish their home rather than dispose of them. Jess
I have in the past emailed the sellers directly and let them know it's against the rules, as some do not know this. It's better they remove it before they get in trouble.
Chuckie
most of them have now been removed by eBay.
Figure_8
I didn't think they would last long. People tend to report them fairly quickly.. at least they do with the dog/cat ones anyway.
Callatya
I reported them just after i posted this one. I'd love for them to find new homes, but policy-wise, it really should be enforced. I hate to pull the fairs fair thing, but yeah, I think i'm going to have to ;)
