Presently I am keeping coldwater fish in my 4ft tank, which I have had for 6 years... but I am about to change it to Tropical. It will be a planted tank with Co2. I am still getting the equipment together for the change over. I have been reading and learning along the way. My son has a planted tropical tank, so I can rely on him for advice (he is the one who will be helping me setup mine) lol. I have a small tank that I am setting up as well, still waiting for the heater, etc. to arrive should be tomorrow I hope. Then I will need to get the other stuff I need from my LFS. I can't wait!!!! BUT in saying that..... I like to find out info for myself, it seems to sink in the old noggin' much better hahaa and that's why I joined AUA. look forward to your expertise and advice on any questions I may have in the near future.
