bettabreeder
Hi, I used to spend time in Singapore working, and took up breeding as a hobby. Managed to get a batch going - 300 and brought them up to 4 months old - 1 to 1.5 inch long and started to show colour. Had to separate them into individual containers since 2 months old. It was an interesting learning experience, and gave me a better understanding of the genetics - colour, fin type and the breeding of "sea monkeys" as food for the hatchlings. I have been back to Melbourne for several years now and am looking to get back into this. Unfortunately, I've never been happy or excited with the bettas that I see on offer in the aquariums. Also, it's been difficult to get female betta from the aquariums. Hope to catch up with some of you sometime.
