Guest justafarmer
I'm planning an aquarium to be built into a wall in my lounge. I've seen some tanks with partitions separating different compartments for the purpose of filtration etc. I like the idea as I can have these functional areas closed off from view so I don't have to look at heaters, filters, pumps etc. It might also be useful to be able to service these areas without disrupting the main part of the tank. I wonder:what are the main pros and cons of building these chambers into the tank itself?is there an "ideal" design for a type of tank eg, marine, freshwater, reef?is there a design that can be used for all the above types of tanks? does anyone know of a website to seek this information from?
