Chuckie Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 yep, back pressure. Apparently DIY is notorious for exploding if the outlet tubing gets blocked. If there wasn't enough "clearance" through the bamboo, the gas could choose to escape more forcefully by blowing the bottle! Yours don't seem to be having any trouble with escaping CO2 though.
