Callatya
The pet shop didn't have HBH, which is what I normally buy for weaning to dry food. I like Hikari stuff so I thought i'd give these a try. They have 50% protien, so I hope that is enough for young fishies, and its also got astaxathin, spirulina (colour enhancers), a D3 supplement, biotin and garlic, all of which sound pretty spesh. The thing is, will they eat it?? Does anyone feed this stuff? do they adults and fry take it equally well?
Figure_8
strangely enough I picked up some of that yesterday.. then put it back thinking the same thing. Will they eat it? :)
bakerman
Very good product for all your fish as i use it all the time .The only problem i found with it is that it sinks to fast so i mainly use bio gold for my individual bettas but use micro pellets alot in my fry tanks once they get big enough to handle it .They seem to grow pretty well on it .But i also give bbs to give them a bit of variety . BettaBred
I use this as well and found that the fry took to it immediately. Like Bakerman l use BioGold pellets when the fish are old enough to swallow it so it is important to get them used to dry food. Also, if l have to get someone else to feed young fish while l am away it makes it a lot easier. Steve.

Canfeleq
You could try crushing the pellets for smaller fish or fry. I have a very small male who seems to have trouble eating anything but the smallest foods, he even has trouble with frozen brine shrimp. As I like the Hikari Betta Bio Gold pellets I feed them as part of his diet but unless I crush them they are too big for him. He doesn't seem to mind them crushed and they seem to take longer to sink. :D
Callatya
THEY LOVE IT! the larger fry snapped it up as soon as it hit the water's surface, and the sportscar fry had a little pick at it too! It seems to float, but I don't have much surface agitation and I use blackwater, so perhaps that increases surface tension and helps keep them from sinking :D
