Not much i know, i just added - the log, Micro sword, long pink and green things at the back ?, a hand full of neons and a light.

Trying to find the "right" rock for the left hand side and maybe a Black Sword plant or a Giant Hygro.

something big, green and hard to kill. And possibly another piece of wood.

any ideas?

Too true, Callatya - a background would make a huge difference to the look of the tank, and it also helps light the tank by reflecting it back in... at it's simplest, find a picture of a planted tank with a similar reedy background to what you have going there, do some laser prints of it (because they're waterproof) and tape it to the back - that makes for a very instant illusion of depth in the tank...

There is theoretically a limit, they're tiny but they do still add to the bioload of the tank... I have 40+ in a 21L with ten neons and a pair of rams, and it's stable on 10% water change a week - bear in mind they need food, filtration, and space, in numbers - I think I've seen keep it to less than 100 in 60L, but that's probably also to allow for the gains from breeding...

can't tell right now cos they're hiding out in the log. but the sign on the tank i bought them from had 'glass shrimp' on it and the receipt had 'feeder fish', so who knows.

they are out! yeah the nose is pretty long, i don't know about serrated though
