I don't have a proper flash, so had to use the built-in unit , thus the flaring toward the front of the fish. The colour of those flaring scales should be blue. Jess Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 It is still a nice sharp photo! The Tokina seems like a great lens! I have a new nikkor 50mm prime, it stops down to 1.8f and it is really good at taking photos of fish in aquariums. I only have an on board flash too. I read somewhere that tissue paper over the flash window helps to stop blown highlights. I haven't tried it yet. I hope you don't mind, I tried to downgrade the flare for you, couldn't bring the blue back though :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
