splendidbetta
I was wondering if we are able to download our PMs from our inboxes? I have PMs that I would rather not delete to make more space, so it would be better to be able to download them to my harddrive instead. Or can we have extra storage space? Thanks in advance :dontknow:
Em
I found copying it and sticking it on a blank notebook page (.txt) suits me
Jess
Em is right, copy/paste to a word document if you want on your hard drive. You can also "Archive" your messages, it sends them to your email in a MS excel datafile, you can choose which ones to Archive and so forth. It's good to do this for the important ones. ..and I know what it is like running out of room!! so I bumped the Snr Members storage quota from 120 to 500 and Jnr from 50 to 250. There you go ^_^

Jess
Got the email There was a bug with the Archiving. I fixed the 'bug' as much as it can be fixed. However, they (IPB) are not doing anymore fixes for this release as there is another upgrade coming real soon. How it turns out also is determined by what email client your using, I am using thunderbird and it is ok. But Yahoo it fuddles around along with some others. Gmail, I think works fine.. I suggest that downloading the "html" as version is better, prettier! LOL someone, you know, once we upped the Pm storage just so we could contact you when it was bouncing back "Full Inbox!!" Download away P.S TRY NOT TO DELETE YOUR PM's UNTIL YOUR HAPPY WITH YOUR ARCHIVE VERSION (as we can't help you once you delete you)
