ladygrace
This is just a short post to announce that my shipment of white VT's with the DT gene arrived early this morning from Rockhampton and Stubbskm. Everyones settled in and some of the boys are even blowing bubbles 12 hours after being unpacked.

stubbskm
Glad they arrived safe. I had a male and female in the spawn tank and they were both going mad. Lots of eggs but only one fry survived. Not suprised as they are still young. Also put a female in with one of my older males as she was huge and I have approx. 30 fry in the tank today. Good Luck with them.

stubbskm
I want fry from my guys but both brothers are turning out to be fry eaters. I have had 3 lots of eggs and as they hatch the males eats them!!!!! So I have a pair in yet again and this time I am going to remove the male as they start to hatch. Hope you have better success. stubbskm
:) He did it again!! Had my mum watching the nest and we were only able to save 5 maybe 6 fry. And to top it all off the female was dead when I got home today. He is so close to becoming oscar food! Will wait now and pair the remaining females up with the blue marble double tail guy I picked up on the weekend. Hopefully I will not have the some problem with the red VT with double tail genes that are now 8 weeks old when I breed them.

ladygrace
andddddddddd.. to add to that two of the new rocky boys decided that it may be fun to jump the barracks divider and have a right old ding dong . both now look like buzz cut army recruits but otherwise none the worse for wear other than being utterly disgusted that they've been confined to Hossy dishes and not able to flare at anything. Cheech and Chong here are grumpily comtemplating that quarreling gets you locked up . well at least thats 2 out of the 6 christened.
