I don't know, maybe I'm totally insane, maybe I use the search function too much.. maybe... this is trivial....

But personally I put as much info / keywords / detail into my thread topics when I start them - so when and if there is an answer to my question or someone miraculously solved my problem - it's easy for others to search for the same thing.

Just sayin.... lots of details in topic titles would make my life easier.

And if you're going to be lazy with spelling elsewhere, at least make an effort in the title so the search engine can find it.

Everytime I google about the etiquette of boasting about my prize-winning show turkeys at the local supermarket, this damn thread keeps popping up and ruining my day:

Les = the point was to get people to title their threads instead of "oh no!" ......a bit more detail would be helpful for when people are searching for terms or illnesses/specifics etc.

...then we had a stab at Razzi, he started a thread about turkey boasters (incorrectly spelt, after he made the comment:)

"And if you're going to be lazy with spelling elsewhere, at least make an effort in the title so the search engine can find it.

Acronyms are also not great for searching. I often spell out brine shrimp now just because bs means something different to google."

Good to know
