kertaz
Is blackworm very addicting to Bettas? I've fed 2 of my Bettas live blackworm for at least 1 - 1.5 weeks, then I thought variety would be good. So I introduced some frozen brine shrimp, and one of the betta reluctantly ate it. The other one though, that I just got recently, flared at it, as if it's seeing it for the first time lol. Attempted to eat one, then spit it out, and just keep looking at the brine shrimp while flaring. Was very cute. Cute stuff aside, are they addicted to live blackworm? What's the quitline for Bettas? Neffy
I wouldnt feed it solidly only as a once a week treat type thing otherwise they get too much protien (or something) which can cause problems also too much of any one type of food can cause internal blocakage its much better to feed a variety, i also know someone who swears it will cause dropsy. Freeze dried blackworm is great however ! as to being addicted, i dont think so i do think they have a preferance for somethings over others taste wise like people but given a few days with no food will have them eating the fist thing you put in the tank. kertaz
Hmm.. I thought it's the bloodworm. Didn't know blackworm could do the same thing. I always thought they're of different kind I usually have a day of no feeding - unless they're in the spawn tank. I'll try live brine shrimp next, when I get around to go to LFS.
