sunnylass
Am rather excited. Not only do I have roughly 50 bubs doing really well, I'm picking up four new boys and four new girls later this afternoon. One of the boys is an almost pure white crowntail. Can't wait! shadoh
Don't forget to post some photos! I like the sound of the white crowntail. Where did you get him from?
Sarah
A white CT... lovely! Yes, pictures are a must. Good luck! Are you getting matching females too?
sunnylass
Ok some photos of the new boys. This is chalky: This is Sam: This is Dingo: And this is Smudge: They were all in a very big community tank and Dingo and Smudge copped a hiding with their tails. sunnylass
He's a bit knocked about at the moment, and I have no idea what his colour would be called, so at the moment I'm holding off finding a girlfriend for him.
shadoh
I'd probably call him platinum.
paul
Wow, Smudge has a really weird colour pattern. He looks like he should be Cambodian but has a dark face. I don't think I've seen any others like him. Nice find. Btw. You've got them separated right coz that's what it looks like in the pics, but u said they're all in a community tank? sunnylass
LOL yes Paul they are seperated. The friend that got them for me took them home first and put them all in her massive community tank which they lived in for about a week before I picked them up. So if Chalky is a platinum, what would I try and pair him up with?
Sarah
A platinum female. Dibs on fry! I also really like Sam's colouring, and Dingo's tail looks interesting as well. Good luck with pairing them up! What females did you get?
sunnylass
I might have to contact fishchicks and see what she has. Dingo's tail is half missing so hopefully it will grow back nicely. The females are all just veiltail girls, so I need to get some nice crowntail girls. Sarah
someone's fish are amazing, you'll end up with wonderful fry! Poor Dingo, I couldn't quite decide if Dongo's tail was special, or torn. I thought it was more special. Good luck finding the right CT girls!
