Ok, so i have being separating my different types of guppies (so as to keep the colors going), I have changed the water gradually from town water to rain water and made sure the PH is at 7.0 (i have done this with my snake skins and my powder blues). have let the tanks cycle for 2 days without fish done everything i could think of as far as preparing the fish for this. But even having done this i have lost female powder blues the snake skins are doing fine (they are all only a couple of months old so it is not age). Can some-one please help?

2 days isn't enough to cycle a tank, more like two weeks. Try adding some hornwort to take up Amonia and dose with a bacteria supplement to speed up the cycle. Super chlor will bind Amonia making it less toxic for the guppies.

I have since removed the guppies and they are doing fine now, can i buy these additives off Aquarium products? Or where is the best place to purchase these? :D

When using rain water do i still have to add the water ager or not? Sorry i am very green and have lots to learn..

You mean guppies aquarium products? Yes you can. Since you have removed the guppies just put a dead prawn in and monitor the Amonia, nitrite an nitrate levels. Also do so research on the nitrogen cycle.

No you don't.

most important - go back to using dechlorinated tap water.

Rain water is too soft and acidic for guppies. They require hard, alkaline water.

If your tap water is not pH 7 or greater use buffers and/or livebearer salts.

Cheers, someone
