At risk of being hated on, I use a plastic bag and a rock. I usually cull a lot if fish at once. Individual fish I just pinch the head off.

Yep, it does mate. All depends on how much time you spend looking at your fish to how long it takes.

Just remember though, some wont breed no matter what you do. Patience is the number one tip with these fish.

Regrowth will happen, pretty quick usually.

I never leave a new pair too long together unless i can keep an eye on them. Once a female attacks my boys I remove immediately. I allow the girl to be beat up a bit though, I use the fishes body language to judge when to remove. Once she is gasping on the surface and trying to run away at all costs, abandon attempt and try again.

    Good luck mate.

Thanks. I have enjoyed spawning these fish and with the three adult fish helping raise the fry, it is different to anything else I have done. I did actually pick the different stages the fish went through, just didn't realise what the changes ment.
    The fry are growing well.

I will be selling these when they are ready (a while yet :-). ). I already have a few shops lined up to take 10 at a time. There are LOTS in the tank.

I am really enjoying this and love how easy it all is, so much easier and less stress than the Betta. It is a nice change.

Congratulations Pete and Jay on your new roles. Also to both someone and Jarrod for their continued support.

I am sure the club shall continue to grow and you shall all do well in your roles.

That's fantastic news. Love watching the ray extensions on the boys as they sprout.

So happy that you have finally had some joy with CTs. :-)
