Sunnylass, Spur does think he's in fishy heaven, he escaped from his isolation tank. He is in with 4 small female guppies in a 30inch tank, it has 2 small tanks floating in there holding Guppies from someone. Spur keeps flaring at the male Guppies like mad LOL Joan, I think your right about him being a rose tail, that is a big no no in my books?? But I had to save him, He looked so sad. Sarah, I am glad you like him, I am hopeing to pick up dalyall's girls next Sunday.

Thanks Shadoh, He is my pet Betta. I always have a pet Boy around the place, Pig lasted well over 2 1/2 years so I am hopeing he will too I think he will have to meet delyall's lanander BF girl :-)

I thought it was time to show you the replacement for Pig.(well didn't think just handed over the money) His name is Spur, I bought him on the spur of the moment Spur looked so sad in his small container, I had to bring him home. I didn't see him flair in the shop, his flairing now:lol:. Not a perfect fish but a nice one.

Did you find any Blue or red Grass?? if you have can you post some pics :-)

I have tried snail traps, not to good, I got a corry, an endler and a very small pep. I spent $30 on the thing too. The old bit of greens popped in at night and fishd out before morniing works for me. Or when I realy what to make sure they are gone I use No-Planaria, It is made from Betal nut. Some people have had mixed results with it.

You could line breed two groups or more and line cross from time to time, Inbreed to fix the type you want and out cross when you feel you need too. things you could do. A. If your friend still has the line yours came from, you could get new blood from that line. B. You could give/sell some of your young to someone that wants your line, then you could go to them for new stock. C. Send someone an email and she will send you her list of guppies for sale, this is an old list http://ausaqua.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10418 I am sure I have seen them on the list in the past. D. Put up a wanted add in the classifieds, I did it in Vic, asking for Blue grass. I got a reply, just waiting to hear back. I would not out cross to another strain unless you want to have a go at developing your own type of Guppy.

I have had problems with mollies and Male Bettas, they seem fine with the girls.
